Welcome back to School

Dear Parents and Carers,

Hopefully this letter finds you and your families well, although we continue to follow the media for COVID alerts. Prior to the start of term, I would like to keep you informed of arrangements and expectations.
Probably like many other families we have had some staff who have been sick during the holidays, but we are very much hoping that life in school continues to return to times when we can invite more parents to visit.

In our planning and risk assessments we are looking to build closer relationships again. There will be no “bubbles” in place within school. However, we have decided to retain certain measures.
While we are not expecting adults to wear masks outdoors, it is up to individuals to make that choice for their own well-being. However, we will still restrict adults coming into the school to one only in the office reception area and will expect adults to wear a mask and also when coming in for a meeting. Screens may also be in use.

As we have had the opportunity to evaluate systems during the past couple of years some new routines for drop off and collection will stay the same and some with small changes. Please see the information below with details for your child’s class. We are still asking for only one adult to accompany each child to reduce congestion and numbers on site.

Year 3 pupils need to know their lunch option for tomorrow, packed lunch or school dinner. Please do not worry about payment in time for tomorrow, you will be issued with a Parent Pay letter with log in details by the end of the day.

We will update the weekly dates list to include future parent consultation meetings and opportunities to come in for liturgies and assemblies. End of day release letters will be sent out as appropriate to year groups sometime next week, until that time children need to be collected from the school site.
Wishing you all a more favourable school year whilst thanking you for your cooperation and full support.

Kind regards

Mrs Hulme MA, NPQH

Executive Headteacher
