Consulation Process on our Admission Policies 2027/28

It is the time for St Mary's Catholic Federation, Carshalton to hold a consultation on our admision policies for 2027/28. Please see below, explaining the process and timings together with the draft Policies for Nursery, Reception and In Year Admissions.

St Mary’s Catholic Federation, Carshalton are wishing to consult on their Nursery, Reception & In Year admission arrangements for 2027/28. The consultation period commences on Friday 12th December and closes on Friday 30th January 2026.

A significant change to the process, included in the 2027/28 arrangements is the removal of Catholic families having to obtain a Certificate of Catholic Practice signed and stamped by their Parish Priest, to support their application. The only evidence now required is that of a Baptism Certificate for their child.

If you wish to give your views on these changes, you must submit your response during the consultation period which ends on 30th January 2026.
